Should i change my major to journalism?

my current major is forensic chemistry. i love forensics and i think it'd be cool to help solve mysteries. i knew i had to take a lot of science and math. i really suck at math though...and the science cles i have to take are pretty hard too. well basically...i'm not sure if i can do this anymore...i mean i'm doing well in all my other cles except botany and math...forensics is the only thing i'm interested in but i'm also interested in journalism slightly because i love photography and i am a good writer. i'm currently seeing a doctor to see if i have a learning disability too...i'm already registered for cles next semester. oh and it's my first year. so if i do change...should i wait until fall 2010 or just tell my advisor now....and it'd be great if you knew any more info about journalism :)
