Broken safe - fix or scrap?

Hi! We have a large safe (2x2x2ish) with both a manual and electrical (keypad) lock. The manual one has been busted once by a locksmith, and the keypad takes multiple entries to respond. The batteries are still good. Is it worth repairing? If not, is this useful for scraps? We don't know what to do with this thing!
