Is it a good thing to not be disturbed buy night mares?

i am just wondering because i do have some i would imagine to some disturbing dreams. The most of what i remember last nights dream was me with a chainsaw covered in blood other dreams are just weird as long as sleep soundly that should be alright shouldn't it. ?
