What are my rights when being detained by a police officer?

My friends and I were parked outside of this random house this past weekend. We are 17. I guess they called the police on us and the poilice came pulled a gun out on us and began to use coercion. Then they made all of us get out the car and didn't just pat us down they frisked us and then proceeded to search the vehicle and found nothing. I didn't know what to say as this was my first time being in this situation. What are my rights? And were they allowed to search both the vehicle and us?
