Given the choice at the beginning would you rather have evolved or been created complete?

Evolved. It means we are on a continual journey to becoming more than what we are right now. It means my distant descendants will be smarter and better than me. It means the mysteries of the universe will be less mysterious in the future. If it was a magic poof then we are a stagnant species with no hope of bettering ourselves as a species. We would continue to be what we have always been and are now what we will always be. I want my descendants to be better than me. I want them to accomplish more than my peers have.
